Enhanced Encouragement
Kid’s Life Programs
Kid’s Life programs were developed by LifeSource to ensure the social, educational, and personal development of children in Northwest Arkansas. LifeSource is a licensed childcare facility that strives to provide a fun, safe, and educational environment during these important developmental years.
Kid’s Life After-School
The after-school program is offered to elementary students in the Fayetteville area and operates during the months of September through April. Any closures during those months are based on the Fayetteville Public School (FPS) calendar. When inclement weather occurs, we will be closed if FPS is closed.
Students receive a nutritious snack upon arrival. Afterwards, they have time to work on homework. If they have no homework, they will spend approximately an hour engaging in educational activities with an emphasis being placed on math and reading skills. Then, we provide them with free time to decompress and have some fun!
University of Arkansas students serve as tutors/mentors under the supervision of qualified staff.
The after-school program is provided at no cost to families; however, limited spaces are available.
New student registration typically opens in August. If you are interested in having your child participate in this program, please contact our office at 479-521-4000.
Kid’s Life Summer Day Camp
Summer Camp operates during the months of June and July from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm (extended hours are available until 5:30 pm) for children who have just completed Kindergarten - 5th grade.
A nutritious breakfast, midmorning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack are provided daily.
Each morning after breakfast, the campers participate in recreational and team building activities. Throughout the summer the campers also learn the basics of gardening as they work together to grow and maintain a community garden.
During the heat of the day, the campers spend time inside engaging in educational, STEAM, character building, and art activities.
The campers also go on weekly fields trips or outings, such as hiking local nature trail, visiting local museums or nature parks, swimming at the aquatic center, visiting the local library, learning about health & nutrition at local farms, etc.
A small one-time per year administrative fee is charged to each family. It is $25/child with a maximum fee of $75/family.
New camper registration typically begins in April. If you are interested in having your child participate in our summer day camp, please contact our office at 479-521-4000.
