Empty Bowls is an annual event designed to raise awareness & funds for those in our community who are experiencing food insecurity. Soup prepared by chefs of local restaurants will be the main course, along with bread and dessert!
All proceeds benefit your neighbors in need! Tickets are $35.00/person or $250.00 to purchase a table of 8.
It’s that time of the year — our annual Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive! Every year we aim to make 700 food baskets to give to families in need so they can enjoy a Thanksgiving feast. We also use this time to restock our pantry full of canned foods. Would you consider picking up these items the next time you’re at the store?
We’ve got 3 drop off locations this year: Southern Storage, Uncle Tanks, and LifeSource. Now through November 22nd we will be collecting these items at those drop off points. Let’s make this the BEST year yet!
To sign up, you must come in person to the LifeSource facility at 600 S. School Ave. Suite 2 Fayetteville, AR 72701. The parent or guardian must bring a photo ID, and some form of identification for each child. For example, a birth certificate, a social security card, a consulate card passport, AR Kids card, medicaid card etc.

This year we are hosting this event on the lawn of Pratt Place Inn & Barn in order to allow for social distancing and to keep everyone as safe as possible. As in years past, soups prepared by local chefs of local restaurants will be the main course. We will also have live music for your entertainment!
Instead of purchasing tables this year, you can purchase the following options:
A 10x10 designated square on the lawn for a picnic style experience. For each 10 x 10 square purchased, you can seat 8 people. Please be prepared to bring a blanket or two with you to sit on, or lawn chairs. Soup will be provided for 8 people.
A drive-through option. If you should choose the drive-through option, we will provide you with all of your soups in to-go containers and a link to a video that you and your family/friends can watch at home to provide thought and discussion about food insecurity in Northwest Arkansas. Soup will be provided for 8 people.
*In the event that weather becomes an issue, the event will be drive-through pickup only.*

Local radio stations are giving you a chance to help families in the Northwest Arkansas community. During the 17th annual Canned Food Campout, five stations will camp out at the Walmart on Joyce with the goal of filling a Mayflower semi-trailer with food for those who are hungry. J.B. Hunt has also provided a refrigerated truck for the turkeys and hams. We are accepting food to be sorted on site and donations from people who cannot be on site to purchase the items.
